I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LW61192846) in the state of Washington with a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Chicago. The focus of my social work career has been on working with the queer community. I started my career at Fenway Health, a community health center serving LGBTQIA+ clients and people living with HIV, and  recently spent three years as a therapist at Seattle Counseling Service, the first LGBTQ- focused community mental health agency in the country. I have worked with a wide variety of clients, including students, caregivers, people living with disabilities, and trans and gender nonconforming folks. In my time as a therapist, I have also facilitated groups for survivors of sexual assault and those grieving the loss of a loved one.

I have completed trainings in Internal Family Systems, Memory Reconsolidation and mindfulness. My approach to therapy is informed by polyvagal theory, somatic therapy, feminist and queer theory, attachment theory and harm reduction.

I’m dedicated to the work of undoing systems of oppression. For me this means constantly working to unlearn the culture of white supremacy, patriarchy, and capitalism and grapple with the ways that these have shaped my clients’ experiences, as well as grapple with how they have shaped my own. This work is never done, and I am always striving to dig deeper. In our therapeutic work, I invite my clients to consider how systemic oppression has shaped both their external experiences, as well as their internal world. In my clinical work as well as my life, I strive to be anti-racist, sex-positive, gender-affirming, and body neutral/ positive. I work with clients of all identities, and welcome conversation and exploration of how these identities show up in my clients’ lives, as well as in our therapeutic relationship.
